"Paying it Forward" to SiteSell -- Just As It Has Done For Me!

It's about time that I pay it forward to the master facilitator of this website, SiteSell (www.sitesell.com). Without the low-cost tools and resources they provide with their Site Build It! (SBI) program, in addition to an extremely client-focused support network, I'm not sure I would have been able to develop this site. In less than a year, I was able to turn something that I wanted to do more or less as a hobby into something that also provides me with additional income. The good thing is that I don't see the ceiling yet and I'm only able to focus on this on a part-time basis!!! I can attribute a great deal of this to SiteSell's wonderful program and a good friend of mine who has been guiding me along the way.

It's almost like the old saying "have beer and they will come" (sorry for the bad humor), except that instead if you're providing exceptional information or services, the traffic will come. And traffic just so happens to be the lifeblood of all Internet sites; having little or no traffic will squander all hopes of running a successful web business/service. SiteSell preaches the "way of the tortoise", meaning slowly building rich, quality content that is beneficial to your audience. In tandem, executing on some very basic search engine optimization strategies as you write new content will result in a snowball effect of traffic to your site -- which provides you with opportunities to make money through advertising, affiliate programs, or directly selling products or services.
I had wanted to do this for several years myself but had no idea how to bring my goal to reality. I looked at this as an opportunity to do something I love (building and developing things) and have a passion about (home theater). And I never would have thought that I would be able to make a little money doing that. After all, I'm not a web developer, programmer, or designer by trade. And with a full-time job and a family, I sure didn't know how I was ever going to find the time to do this.
That's where SiteSell has delivered beyond my expectations. It's much, much more than a hosting service; they provide me with all of the tools and resources I need to build a website from the ground up. To kickstart things, they provide you with a 10 day, step-by-step computer-based learning module to take your site from concept to fruition. They teach you how the model works and how to accomplish your goals within the framework of their system. In many cases, they even do a lot of the work for you that you would otherwise do on your own if you weren't using their service -- like submitting your pages to all of the major search engines. I can't even begin to tell you about all of the things they equip you with because this page would probably become insanely long.
I dare you to compare their service offering with any other and they will quickly do the same. To make the deal even sweeter, the yearly subscription fee for all of these services is a meager $300 -- something I was able to easily recoup in the first year. Now that I'm beyond my first year, I easily recoup that investment in only a fraction of that time. And as time passes, the amount of time to recoup that investment continues to become shorter!
I enjoy the convenience of having everything that I need to run a successful website at my fingertips. And better yet, they have a wonderful forum comprised of people just like me that I can lean on at any time. Many "SBIers" (as we call ourselves) are heavily involved in participating in the forum and are quick to lend a helping hand. It's awesome and refreshing to quickly get answers to your issues -- many on the forum have already encountered and tackled many of the same issues you're facing, so in many cases you've got the answer right in front of you. I can't do the service enough justice -- to me, it's an incredible, comprehensive package that I see as a great bargain.
If you're looking for an easy and affordable way to build an online site to share knowledge with others, then I highly encourage you to consider Site Build It! It does such a good job of catering to people who have little to no knowledge of how to build a website that I can't see myself recommending anything else. These ease in which I've been able to build my site is a testament to the type of top notch program that they provide to their customers.
